Volunteers need for the Rock’n Food Festival

The annual Rock’n Food Festival, now in its 5th year, takes place in Enniscorthy over the August Bank Holiday weekend. The festival is now regarded as one of the premier food events in Ireland and last year attracted in excess of 120,000 visitors to Enniscorthy over the three days.

Economically, the festival is of huge value to the local economy with almost every sector of the business community benefiting either directly or indirectly. It is imperative therefore that every assistance and help be given to the organising committee of the Rock’n Food Festival as they continue with their endeavors to attract even bigger crowds to Enniscorthy for this year’s event.

With that in mind, Enniscorthy and District Chamber of Commerce, working in tandem with the organising committee, are seeking to recruit volunteers to help out with the logistical difficulties an event of this size generates.

This e-mail is designed to compile a list of volunteers who may be available for part or all of the Bank Holiday weekend and who may be willing to help make this festival an even greater success that it already is.

Any person wishing to volunteer their services are asked to contact the Chamber Office, telephone 053 9232006 or by e-mail: admin@enniscorthychamber.ie
