500 students attend Transition Mornings.

More than 500 students from six of the seven second level schools in the Enniscorthy area attended Two Transition Mornings in The Riverside Park Hotel recently. The ‘mornings’ were organised by Enniscorthy and District Chamber in conjunction with the Riverside Park Hotel and focused mainly on the hospitality industry as a career. Heads of Departments within the Riverside Park Hotel outlined the opportunities within the hotel industry while representatives of Waterford Institute of Technology and Carlow Institute of Technology (Wexford Campus) gave informative talks on the courses available to students wishing to pursue careers in the industry.

Members of An Garda Siochana also attended as did a representative from the Nursing Profession, a banking official and a Mental Health official, all detailing the career opportunities available within their respective professions.
